Its exists only because of the reason that 70% of Indian mobiles users uses mobile phone for just to answer a call or to dial a call.

Plan 1: Plan 49 per month (you get 5MB free usage and beyond that Rs 0.01 per Kb)

Plan 2: Plan 199 per month (Unlimited Internet with no limit on GPRS)



Now to activate this GPRS services you need to send the following SMS

GPRS49 to 53733

for Plan 49

GPRS199 to 53733

for Plan 199

To Deactivate GPRS on BSNL GPRS on Postpaid Connections Deactivate GPRS on BSNL GPRS on Postpaid Connections is one of the easier process and could be done by sending a SMS too.

Send the following SMS

GPRSD to 53733

This works for all the plans.
